Submit Your Machinery Assets for Appraisal

Submit your plant & machinery information into our "Asset Appraisal" form on the home page of our website (or simply call us on 1300 716 595).  One of our plant & machinery experts will get back to you within 24-48 hours to introduce themselves, ask you some questions about your machinery assets, including; general desciption of the asset(s), request a copy of your asset register or depreciation schedule & photos of the key pieces of plant for review to enable us to complete your desktop appraisal. Make sure you have a copy of your assest inventory or asset depreciation schedule available.

The Appraisal

Once we have received your plant & machinery information, we will request a second call with you to clarify the information you have provided & ask additional questions (if required)  to enable us to complete the desktop appraisal.  There are 10 primary factors we consider when appraising your plant & machinery assets.  Subsequently, the desktop appraisal will take some time to prepare & will be heavily reliant on the information you provide.

The Assest Divestment Strategy

We are experts with the creation & execution of asset divestment strategies for Plant, Machinery & Equipment assets.

If the desktop appraisal meets your expectations, we can create an Asset Divestment strategy & assist you divest your Plant, Machinery & Equipment asset(s).

If you instruct us to commence the asset divestment process, we will prepare an asset divestment strategy with our recommended sales methodology or mix of methodologies, including a tailored marketing schedule and budget for your approval.

The Agency Agreement

If you instruct us to proceed to the Asset Divestment stage we will provide you an Agency Agreement document for your approval & signing.

An agency agreement is a legally binding contract between you (the vendor) and us (the agent).  It includes your (the owners) details, the agent's (our) details and the Plant, Machinery & Equipment details.

It also details what you (the vendor) and us (the agent) have agreed in relation to responsibilities, fees & charges for our professional services in acting on your behalf to assist you divest your Plant & Machinery asset(s).

Information Gathering

Once the agency agreement is signed, we will visit your premises / site so we can build a detailed list / inventory of your plant & machinery assets.

This includes but is not limited to;

  • a detailed description of your assets including make, model, year, capacity etc …
  • Photography of all your assets
  • Videos’ of your assets / machinery operating

Copywriting & Graphic Design

With all the information and photographic imagery we have now gathered, our in-house copywriters and graphic designers, create both traditional and digital marketing literature to promote your plant & machinery assets to a global market.

Assets To Market

Once our copywriters and graphic designers have finalised the tailored marketing material, we implement our agreed marketing strategy promoting your assets to a global audience.

We use three different marketing approaches to find a buyer for your plant & machinery assets.

We promote your assets to our extensive buyer database.

  • We promote your assets via our marketing channels. We have 15 different marketing channels we use to find buyers looking for assets to acquire, just like yours.

Viewing – we conduct and manage viewing days (buyer inspections) to enable prospective buyers to inspect your assets and see them in operation, this increases the confidence of the buyer for their purchase of your machinery assets.

Auction Catalogue

This document is an extensive listing with complete descriptions of your assets, including make, year, model, capacity, serial numbers etc, along with photos & videos, from various viewpoints. This is the document, along with the marketing literature we use to promote your assets to prospective buyers.

Step 10

Assets Go To Sale 

The assets are offered for sale via our selected sale methodology. The asset sale process is “live” for an extended period, enabling our marketing strategy to drive buyer interest to bid freely to purchase your assets.

Step 11

Invoicing & Pick Up

We issue invoices for buyer purchases and dedicate specific days for buyers to attend your site to collect their purchases, which is managed by us.

We Send The Cheque 

The final step is we send you the cheque along with a tax invoice documenting your asset sale prices and itemising the expenses, fees & charges.
