Submit Asset Info for Appraisal

Submit your business asset information into our Asset Appraisal form.  One of our team will get back to you within 24 hours to introduce themselves, ask you some questions about your assets and then request specific details of your assets to complete the desktop asset appraisal.  Make sure you have a copy of your asset inventory or asset depreciation schedule available.

The Appraisal

Once we have received the information about your business assets, we will request a second call with you to do the final desktop appraisal. One of our experienced appraisers will give you a range as to what your business assets could sell for, if sold today.

The Asset Divestment Strategy

Once we provide our desktop appraisal and you instruct us to proceed, we will prepare an asset divestment strategy including our recommended sales methodology, or mix of methodoloies and a tailored marketing schedule and budget for your approval.

The Agency Agreement

As part of the appraisal call, we will discuss the services we offer. We get paid a % commission of the total sales price of the asset realisation (no upfront fees). After the appraisal call our broker will send you our agency agreement for review which documents our role and responsibilities in acting on your behalf to sell your assets.

Information Gathering

Once the agency agreement is signed, we will visit your premises / site so we can build a detailed list / inventory of your assets.

This includes but is not limited to;

  • a detailed description of your assets including make, model, year, capacity etc …
  • Photography of all your assets
  • Videos’ of your assets operating

Copywriting Graphic Design

With all the information and photographic imagery, we have now gathered, our in-house copywriters and graphic designers, create both traditional and digital marketing literature to promote your assets to the market.

Assets To Market

Once our copywriters and graphic designers have finalised the tailored material, we implement our agreed marketing strategy promoting your assets to our pre-determined target market of buyers.

We then take the assets to market. We use four different marketing approaches to find a buyer for your assets.

  1. We send it to our buyer database. Generally, 70% of assets get sold to our existing database.
  2. We send it out to our marketing channels, we have 12 different marketing channels we use to find people looking for assets to acquire, just like yours
  3. We look for synergistic buyers and create a target list of industry competitors / dealers / merchants / suppliers / distributors and contact them directly.

Interested buyers will have a range of questions about your assets – we answer all the questions we can ourselves, if we can’t, we get the answers from you and get back to buyers.

Viewing – we conduct and manage viewing days (buyer inspections) to enable prospective buyers to inspect the assets and see them in operation, to increase the confidence of the buyer for their purchase.

We offer your assets to a global market.

Auction Catalogue

This document is an extensive listing with complete descriptions of your assets, including make, year, model, capacity, serial numbers etc, along with photos & videos, from various viewpoints. This is the document, along with the marketing literature we use to promote your assets to prospective buyers.

Time Frame: Within 7 – 14 Days

Assets Go To Sale 

The assets are offered for sale via our selected sale methodology. The asset sale process is “live” for an extended period, enabling our marketing strategy to drive buyer interest to bid freely to purchase your assets.

Time Frame: Within 7 – 10 Days

Invoicing & Pick Up

We issue invoices for buyer purchases and dedicate specific days for buyers to attend your site to collect their purchases, which is managed by us.

Time Frame: 1 Week

2 Weeks to a Cheque

We Send The Cheque 

The final step is we send you the cheque along with a Tax Invoice documenting your asset sale prices and itemising all the advertising expenses.
